As the July 4th holiday approaches, Erik and I, with our family and friends, anticipate a good barbeque, fireworks, and a lazy evening on the porch watching the fireflies light up the evening garden. The garden has also been building up to an "explosion" of its own. This month will see it in its full "blooming glory".
This is the time of year that I think I am on top of it all in the garden, only to be proven wrong every time! I hasten to catch up with all the chores needed to keep the garden happy. Sketching in the garden is much more fun than pulling weeds!

We also enjoy eating the fresh organic veggies that we manage to get into the ground. There is always too much, and it is nice to have extra produce to share with friends. I look forward to July's long evenings where I can visit the garden to relax, sketch, or do chores. No matter what it is, it is always a pleasant experience!

Sincerely
